Teaching Strategy

The students are provided with digital class notes, video tutorials, worksheets and assessments at least 18 hours in advance of the class.

The student is expected to read the notes, view the videos and attempt the worksheets before the start of the live class scheduled for the next day.

This is called the "Flipped Classroom Model".

Our Teachers

All our teachers are experts in their field and hold a bachelors degree or higher in their chosen subject area.

Assessments

Students are required to complete end-of-term assessments each term. Digital report cards will be issued by Young Achievers Online Academy to provide feedback on academic progress.

The final examination is the CSEC examination. Students will sit this examination as private candidates at an approved government secondary school.

All certificates for the CSEC examinations are issued by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC).
